Viltrox has announced its new wide-angle autofocus lens designed for APS-C and mirrorless cameras: the AF 25mm F1.7 Air E/Z/FX Lens.
This lens offers wide compatibility with various camera platforms, featuring a lightweight construction and precision autofocus.
Tailored for high-resolution video capture and still images, the AF 25mm F1.7 employs high-speed autofocus with STM stepping motors and in-body image stabilization.

This technology allows the lens to silently lock onto and track subjects with minimal distortion, ensuring smooth and steady footage as well as crisp still images.
With a full-frame equivalent of 38mm, it strikes a balance between a wide field of view and detailed shots, making it perfect for capturing candid street scenes and stunning portraits.
The lens consists of 12 elements arranged in 10 groups, including two high-refractive index elements, an aspherical extra-low dispersion element, and two aspherical elements coated with Viltrox’s HD nano multi-layer coating to minimize ghosting and artifacts.
