Adobe has launched the first commercial generative video model designed specifically for content creators and professional video artists.
The Adobe Firefly Video Model is both IP-friendly and safe for commercial use, enabling brands to deploy their generated content confidently, ensuring professional results free from copyright issues.

This new web-based application allows users to generate ideas and refine them for production-ready content seamlessly.
It offers creative control and supports cross-media workflows, making the post-production process faster and more scalable.
Generate Video produces video clips from text prompts using large language models, facilitating the creation of various camera angles, 3D sketches, storyboards, atmospheres, and custom motion designs, all in 1080p HD or a lower resolution for quicker processing.
Users can expect 4K Ultra High-Resolution output in the future for finalized video files.

“Beyond generating high-quality images,” Adobe states in its announcement, “the Firefly Video Model provides creators with unmatched control over their work, featuring professional camera angles and positioning, rich detail, prompt accuracy, and the ability to align with the structure and style of reference images across image, video, and 3D outputs.”
With the Generative Firefly Video Model, users can create original videos, b-rolls, animations, and other creative content to convey their stories throughout all stages of production.
Through Firefly, users can merely type a video prompt, generate the video, and then refine the result as necessary.
The intuitive controls enable the creation of detailed camera shots with adjustable settings, allowing filmmakers to reframe subjects as envisioned without costly reshoots.

The Firefly Video Model can iterate from simple sketches or images, to advanced art design and concept art using text-to-image prompts or by uploading sample images to enhance the generative process further.
Users can upload the first and last scenes to ensure compatibility with the sample image.
The Scene to Image feature offers creators a streamlined workflow to render production-ready assets from 3D shapes, resulting in professional graphic design workflows.
Moreover, the Firefly Video Model can generate fresh dialogue while preserving an authentic voice, eliminating the need for re-recording.
Creators can quickly develop new takes, adjust dialogue, or modify the voice, tone, cadence, and acoustics of pre-recorded material, even translating dialogue into more than 20 languages without sounding overdubbed or like a voiceover.

Pricing and Availability
The Firefly Video Model offers two-tiered plans featuring audio and video capabilities, along with image and vector generation.
The Standard Plan provides creators with 2,000 video and audio credits per month, enabling up to 20 five-second 1080p video generations for $9.99 per month.
The Firefly Pro Plan expands to 7,000 video/audio credits, allowing up to 70 five-second 1080p video generations for $29.99 per month.
A Firefly Premium plan will soon be available, catering to professional-level team-based workflows with increased audio and video capacity for high-volume creators.
All Firefly plans grant unlimited access to Firefly imaging and vector features.
Currently, the Adobe Firefly Generate Video model is in beta testing and can be accessed via the Firefly web application, as well as in Adobe Premiere Pro with Generative Extend (beta).
