Hollyland, a Chinese film gear company, was the first to introduce compact Lark wireless microphones designed for on-camera use.

The company has now launched the new Lark M2S, which is 30% smaller than the previous Lark M2 while maintaining the same high-performance audio quality.

Roughly the size of a button, the sixth-generation Lark M2S is designed to seamlessly integrate into any character’s costume while delivering professional-grade audio.
With dimensions of 1.3 cm x 0.63 cm, the ultra-compact wireless microphone is logo-free and weighs just 7 grams, allowing it to blend in with outfits or remain completely hidden.
The microphone features a titanium alloy clip that ensures it stays securely attached, even during rigorous movements. It promises not to slip or fall off.
Additionally, the design includes a new dial for adjusting volume, microphone gain, and settings, along with easy access to power and pairing.

With a maximum operating distance of 300 meters (984 feet), the Lark M2S records at a sampling rate of 24-bit/48 kHz and offers a 70 dB signal-to-noise ratio.
It transmits encrypted audio data across the popular 2.4 GHz band, delivering exceptional clarity and capturing all the subtle nuances of the human voice.
The Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature minimizes background and ambient noise, ensuring the subject’s voice remains the focal point.
ENC also allows talent to move freely without losing the connection, even when obstacles obstruct the line of sight.

Thanks to its enhanced noise cancellation technology, the Lark M2S provides up to 30 hours of battery life, making it an ideal choice for live streaming or situations where hiring an audio engineer or boom operator isn’t feasible.
Each transmitter operates independently for up to nine hours, and the portable charging case offers two additional charging sessions to keep recordings going throughout the day.
