RØDE Launches 3rd Gen Wireless Go

RØDE has unveiled the Wireless GO Gen 3 Microphone System, a feature-packed addition to its wireless audio lineup.

Breaking away from the trend toward more miniaturized designs, the iconic design of the Wireless GO Gen 3 prioritizes performance and reliability with up to 40 hours of onboard recording, 32-bit float recording, and Intelligent GainAssist, solidifying its position as an essential tool for creators and audio professionals.

RØDE CEO Damien Wilson underscored the innovation behind the system, noting, “The original Wireless GO established a whole new category in 2019, redefining wireless audio recording with a compact, reliable, and high-quality solution.

The third-generation Wireless GO raises the bar once again, packed with innovative features and vibrant new options to meet creators’ needs.”

The Wireless GO Gen 3 delivers exceptional recording capabilities, including advanced 32-bit float recording, which ensures audio integrity by allowing creators to recover clipped or low-volume recordings during post-production.

Intelligent GainAssist, borrowed from RØDE’s Wireless ME system, offers Auto and Dynamic modes that maintain a balanced signal while preserving the unique tonal quality of each recording.

Equipped with professional-grade omnidirectional microphones and upgraded preamps introduced in the Wireless PRO earlier this year, the transmitters provide exceptional audio fidelity.

Each transmitter also includes a dedicated recording button and a safety channel feature, ensuring that recordings are protected against unexpected audio peaks or congestion.

The receiver module features a bright LCD for easy adjustments and supports 2.4GHz 128-bit encrypted signals with a line-of-sight range of up to 260 meters (853 feet).

Designed for maximum versatility, the Wireless GO Gen 3 integrates seamlessly with other RØDE Series IV products, such as the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Video, as well as accessory systems like the Interview Pro and Wireless GO Pro.

The system supports USB-C and 3.5mm TRRS outputs, features locking connectors for lavalier and external microphones, and includes plug-in power detection to optimize battery life.

Customization is further enhanced through the RØDE Central App, allowing configuration via a smartphone or computer.

Battery life is impressive, with up to seven hours of continuous use on a single charge. For added convenience, RØDE is introducing the RØDE Charge Case Plus, a compact rechargeable travel case that can fully recharge the system twice, extending usage by up to 21 hours.
