DJI’s Power Expansion Battery system provides hours of power on set by daisy-chaining it to the Power 1000 portable power station.
Its modular design enables efficient energy storage in a compact size, allowing users to add as many batteries as needed.

The DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 delivers 2048 Wh of high-capacity power to the Power 1000 System. Users can integrate up to five Power Expansion Battery 2000 units into the Power 1000 system, collectively providing up to 11264 Wh.
Together, the Power 1000 system can supply 2400 watts of consistent power and 2600 watts of overclocked output when necessary.

Additionally, when combined, the Power 1000 and Expansion Battery 2000 achieve 1024-watt hours with 1500 Watts of output and can recharge in about 46 minutes.
This setup ensures steady power with minimal downtime during critical moments.
The menu interface of the Power Expansion Battery 2000 is user-friendly, featuring a screen and simple buttons for straightforward operation. Its single-wiring design allows secure stacking, creating a compact and sleek unit that’s easy to maneuver.

The Expansion Power Battery includes multiple safety features to prevent overheating.
It boasts a 2-kWh charging package with lithium iron phosphate cells, capable of recharging up to 4000 times.
Additionally, connection ports on each side facilitate easy access to power.

The DJI Intelligent Battery Management System monitors the battery’s status and optimizes multiple packs to extend battery life.
Users can control the power system remotely via the DJI Home App, and the DJI Power Dongle enables interaction with the Home App through Bluetooth or WiFi.

The DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 will be available “soon” for $1169, but users can preorder now for $899. Meanwhile, the DJI Power 1000 is currently offered at a discount of up to $220 from B&H, making it an ideal time to enhance your on-location power tools.
Keep in mind that the Power Expansion Battery 2000 must be used with the Power 1000 portable power station, which requires a firmware update.
Use the DJI Assistant 2 app to update the firmware of the power station to the latest version via a wired connection before using the expansion battery for the first time.
