SIGMA 16mm f/1.4 DC DN

The SIGMA 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens is the widest of the group, featuring 16 elements arranged in 13 groups.

This design incorporates two special low-dispersion (SLD) elements, three fluorite low-dispersion (FLD) elements, and two aspherical elements, all intended to minimize distortion, chromatic aberration, and color fringing.

The result is enhanced sharpness and accurate color rendering, making this lens ideal for landscape, architecture, and street photography.

Next is the SIGMA 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens, which consists of 13 elements in 10 groups. It features three special low-dispersion elements and two aspherical elements.

This lens supports in-body image stabilization and provides optical correction when used with compatible cameras.

With its less distorted angle of view, it is perfect for everyday photography and travel.

Following is the SIGMA 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens.

This lens offers an angle of view closest to that of the human eye and includes two aspherical elements and one high refractive index (HRI) element. It delivers sharp images and precise focus, making it excellent for full-body portraits and environmental photography.

Finally, the SIGMA 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens serves as the flagship portrait lens within the Contemporary range, providing an equivalent focal length of 89.6 mm in full-frame terms.

Designed with one special low-dispersion element and two aspherical elements, it enhances optical performance and reduces chromatic aberration while accurately rendering skin tones and fine details.

All four lenses are equipped with a nine-blade aperture for attractive bokeh and feature SIGMA’s super multilayered lens coating to minimize flare and ghosting.

Currently, these lenses are available exclusively for the Canon RF mount, with availability for EF, Sony E, Leica L, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, and Micro Four Thirds mounts expected soon.
