Wes Brewer, founder of ProGrade Digital, stated, “We have recognized for years that there is an opportunity to expand further into the professional workflow with a high-capacity, high-performance SSD.

We were waiting for just the right time to enter with a truly new and defining product that offers unique features and value.

Our introduction of capacity points from 2 TB to 8 TB, and a USB4/Thunderbolt 4 interface, allows us to provide industry-leading sustained performance and reliability for professionals that have traditionally had to settle for much slower and less reliable solutions.”

The PG10 will be available in capacities starting at 2 TB and going up to 8 TB. It will utilize USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 for maximum transfer speeds of up to 2,500 MB/s, with a minimum sustainable write speed of 1,500 MB/s for the 2 TB model and 2,000 MB/s for the 4 TB and 8 TB models.

The PG10 will also be backward compatible, allowing users with older USB 3 or USB-C architectures to use the drives at the maximum speeds available for those specifications.
