Wooden Camera has introduced the Elite Accessory System tailored for the Canon C400 camera.
This innovative system boasts a modular design, enabling rapid assembly and adaptability, thus optimizing on-set efficiency and allowing users to promptly commence scene capture.
During the annual Cine Gear Expo held in June, the preview of the Canon EOS C400 Elite Accessory System garnered a positive reception.

Dominick Aiello, Senior Director of Accessories at Creative Solutions, revealed enthusiasm regarding the impending availability of this comprehensive collection upon the camera’s release.
Notably, the system empowers users to expand the number of mounting points and power options significantly beyond the standard camera package.

The Wooden Camera Elite Accessory System is designed to seamlessly integrate an extensive array of the company’s accessories along with Canon’s and other third-party modules, affording shooters remarkable flexibility to configure and refine their camera setups.
“This collection lets users increase the number of mounting points and power options well beyond the base camera package,” adds Aiello. “And we’re excited to make it available when the camera is released.”

Key components of the Elite Accessory System include:
– Battery Slide Pro (available in Gold Mount or V-Mount): This unit furnishes battery voltage to the camera via a 4-pin XLR connector. The hot-swap battery slide directly connects to the camera’s back and incorporates three accessory D-taps, along with a digital fuse featuring a push-button reset mechanism to avert potential damage or power interruptions to the camera and accessories.
– Base Plate System for Canon EOS C400: This meticulously crafted system, characterized by its optical centering and intuitive design, harmoniously integrates with Wooden Camera and third-party accessories, including LWS 15mm rods.
– Top Plate System for Canon EOS C400: Comprising a lightweight, adaptable, and modular design encompassing a three-piece Top Plate and a front-facing Dual Rod Clamp, this system offers multiple mounting points for handles and other accessories.
– Top Handle Cheese Plate for Canon EOS C400: Designed for ergonomic conformity to the EOS C400 handle, this plate maximizes comfort while providing additional accessory mounting points on the top and side.
– NATO Side Rail for Canon EOS C400: This streamlined and secure rail extends additional mounting points near the camera’s rear, enabling the use of NATO clamp accessories.
– Bolt-On Canon EVF Adaptor for Canon EOS C400: This adaptor facilitates secure attachment of the 15mm EOS C400 EVF Adapter directly to the Ultra Handle Front Riser or the front of the 1” Ultra Handle Extension, thereby offering additional mounting points.
