FilmConvert has just announced that CineMatch is now available for download and purchase for Final Cut Pro! The company states that its team was working hard alongside Apple’s developers to update the plugin to ensure it will work smoothly on the new Apple Silicon Macs.

To recap, CineMatch is FilmConvert’s latest ultimate color correction solution for all filmmakers, with advanced camera-matching capabilities powered by the company’s unique camera profiles.

CineMatch brings color management capabilities to Final Cut Pro for the first time – you can now quickly and easily match footage from over 70 different cameras to a seamless baseline grade.

Single-camera shooters can use the CineMatch sensor match technology to get the Hollywood color science from high-end digital cinema cameras for your own projects – regardless of what camera you shot on!

Turbo-charge your LUTs, by using LUTs from your collection or your favorite creator on footage from any camera. You’ll have access to RAW-like controls to adjust footage as though you were adjusting the camera settings on-set. There’s also a single-click REC.709 conversion for any Log source.

Plus, CineMatch seems to be the perfect companion for FilmConvert Nitrate. You can use these software products to quickly balance and match your footage, and then add FilmConvert over the top for a perfect film look.

CineMatch is available for Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and now Final Cut Pro as individual plugins for $139, or you can purchase a CineMatch Bundle license for $199. Keep in mind, though, that CineMatch for Final Cut Pro requires FCP 10.6 to run.
