Australian audio gear maker RODE Microphones has rolled out the first major update for its proprietary podcasting and streaming software RODE Connect. Version 1.1 is available now for both Windows and Mac.
For those of you who might not be aware, RØDE Connect is an intuitive, fully-featured recording interface that allows you to connect up to four NT-USB Mini microphones to a single computer. RØDE Connect is the easiest way to record a podcast and livestream with incredible audio quality while offering an intuitive, fully-featured recording interface inspired by the RØDECaster Pro.
With this free piece of software, users get access to broadcast-style faders, one-click recording, level metering, mute buttons, output control, flexible optimization and export options for uploading to all popular podcasting platforms.
The latest version of RODE Connect brings updated Sound Pads section with 3 playback styles; toggle, hold, and one-shot. It also adds Swear Button and ‘Trash-Talk’ mode along with a Solo Button added to each channel.
