Only a few days before the officially announced online launch event by Panasonic takes place, there’s already a leaked image of the upcoming LUMIX GH5 II floating around. The rumor mill also suggests that we are going to see a brand new LUMIX S 50mm F1.8 lens as well announced on May 25th.
Another speculation refers to a possible GH6 development that might be in the works but it’s still pretty unclear what we are going to see eventually. Meanwhile, a recent leak from Nokishita has revealed some possible specs for the Panasonic GH5 Mark II.
Some of those include a 20.33MP sensor capable of shooting 4K/60p video, 3.68-million dot EVF with a faster 120fps refresh rate, a DMW-BLK22 battery, an identical physical body size to the GH5 along with a rumored priced tag of $1,697.
There’s even a full specifications sheet of the GH5 Mark II that you can take a look at here.
Nothing impressive there, indeed, but as always, you should definitely take all of the above information with a pinch of salt before the official launch event kicks off on May 25th at 10:00am EDT.
