As promised earlier, the flagship Sony FX9 can now output 4K Raw video up to 120fps. The feature is unlocked by Firmware version 2.10 which also brings an improvement in white balance adjustment.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to record 4K120p internally straight away, but only by using the XDCA-FX9 extension unit which will set you back an additional $2,500. Optionally, FX9 users can capture the high frame video feed utilizing the Atomos Ninja V+ monitor/recorder which is capable of recording up to 8K30p or 4K120p in ProRes RAW and costs $1,499.
Sony FX9 V2.10 Firmware Update

- White Balance adjustment improvement
When it comes to white balance, the Sony FX9 provides a more neutral white balance with less green bias. You can download Firmware v2.10 as a free download from the Sony Pro Support Page.
