Sony has just announced a special online event referring to a brand new camera announcement that will take place on February 23, at 10:00 EST. It seems that the imminent Sony camera will be part of the company’s Cine Line which includes the FX6, FX9, and Venice as of now.
Some rumors suggest that this might be the Sony FX3. Other speculations floating around hint at possible features such as a compact and lightweight form factor, 12-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, internal 4K recording up to 120fps, and in-body image stabilization. Nothing is officially confirmed, though, so we’ll have to wait six more days to figure it out.
Meanwhile, Blackmagic Design will be hosting a live event later today with the latest updates on their ATEM Mini and cameras. All we know is that the live stream should start at 10 AM PST (6pm GMT).
Make sure to tune in and be the first to know what Blackmagic and Sony have up their sleeves.
