Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X are Now Free for 90 Days

Despite the multitude of negative consequences that creative professionals are experiencing lately due to the Covid-19 outbreak, there is still some good news popping up here and there. Apple, for instance, has just made their professional-grade video editing software Final Cut Pro X free for 90 days, instead of the usual 30-day free trial.

What’s more, current trial users can even re-start the clock and take advantage of the full 3-month period at any time. They will simply need to go back to Apple’s website and download the latest FCP X 10.4.8 to reset the clock and get the full 90 days. If you are a new user, all you have to provide is your name and email address and then click download.

Saving $300 for a proper FCP X license is unarguably a breath of fresh air in those challenging times, so every initiative in that regard is highly welcomed.

If that’s not enough, Apple are also offering a 90-day trial of their audio editing suite Logic Pro X which is another excellent opportunity for those who have always wanted to test the software without spending the extra $199 to get full access.

By the way, this is the very first time Logic Pro X gets a free trial, so kudos to Apple for finally providing this option to users worldwide.
