Get the Sony A6600, A7R IV and Selected Sony FE Lenses with 20% OFF

If you are a student or educator and you’re currently in the market for a brand new Sony mirrorless camera but don’t know which model to pick, this exclusive B&H offer might help you make up your mind more easily.

Two of the most popular Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras the Sony A6600 and A7R IV are now selling with 20% OFF the original price. What’s more, you can get a bunch of selected Sony FE lenses with the same discount and put together an excellent basic camera kit that should help you start shooting video in no time.

Announced back in August 2019, the flagship Sony A6600 sits above the A6500 and the A6400 while offering some cool features such as  4K (UHD) video recording up to 30fps alongside 1080p up to 120fps, 5-axis IBIS, Real-Time Tracking, Real-time Eye AF for stills and video, and a much better NP-FZ100 battery ported from the top-end full-frame Sony mirrorless lineup.

The camera comes equipped with a 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS Sensor powered by the BIONZ X Image Processor while adopting the same body design as the rest of the A6xxx lineup. Other noteworthy features on board include HLG & S-Log3 Gamma profiles, 3.0″ 180° tilting touchscreen, 4D FOCUS with 425 Phase-Detect Points, headphone and mic ports as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Sony A7R IV, on the other hand, is one of the latest Sony’s full-frame mirrorless cameras with a new 61MP back-illuminated 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor and 15 stops dynamic range. The camera shoots 4K (UHD) 3840 x 2160 video in XAVC-S (H.264 8bit 4:2:0) across the full width of the image sensor and full pixel readout without pixel binning in Super 35mm mode.

S-Log 2 and S-Log 3 as well as Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) are also available on the Alpha 7R IV for HDR workflows. Just like the A6600 sibling, the A7R IV sports 5-axis, optical in-body image stabilization system as well as advanced Real-time Tracking plus Real-time Eye AF for still image recording.

Besides the improved grip and button layout for improved control, the A7R IV features an evolved Pixel Shift Multi Shooting mode that composites up to 16 full-resolution images. In this mode, the camera precisely shifts the sensor in one pixel or half-pixel increments to capture 16 separate pixel-shifted images, which are then composited into a 240-megapixel image using Sony’s “Imaging Edge” desktop application.

Both the Sony A6600 and A7R IV are currently discounted by 20% selling for $1,118.40 and $2,798.40 respectively. Finally, here’s the full list of all Sony items that you can get with 20% OFF until Feb 29, 2020.
