The company just unveiled their very first 27-inch 4K monitor with a built-in color calibrator and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.

Billed as the world’s first 27-inch 4K monitor with a built-in colorimeter and Thunderbolt 3, the Dell UltraSharp 27 4K PremierColor Monitor (UP2720Q) comes with an impressive true 10-bit IPS panel offering 3840 x 2160 native resolution up to 60Hz alongside 100% Adobe RGB, 98% DCI-P3 and 80% BT2020 coverage.

The newcomer also features two Thunderbolt 3 ports delivering 90W of power, thus allowing users to charge their laptop and daisy chain up to two 4K monitors.

Other than that, the brand new Dell UP2720Q offers 1300:1 contrast ratio, high pixel density of 163ppi, 8ms response time, and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

The configuration of the unit is simple with a variety of connectors, which include 1 x DisplayPort 1.4, 2 x HDMI 2.0, 2 x Thunderbolt 3 ports as well as 6 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.

You should also be able to get work done faster with the available onboard quick and easy calibration tool which can be scheduled after hours for consistent and optimized color performance all the time.

Furthermore, the UltraSharp 27 4K PremierColor is a CalMAN Ready monitor, meaning it works seamlessly with CalMAN color calibration software to perform a variety of tasks, including calibration with a built-in or external colorimeter.

The Picture-By-Picture (PBP) feature on the Dell UP2720Q, on the other hand, is ideal for comparing visual content side by side, allowing users to view the same image in different color spaces, or compare images from two different sources.
