Last November, Tilta unveiled their Tactical Assault Armour Cage for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and since then the various bits and pieces that makeup this beast of a cage have been trickling down the pipeline. And now, the much-awaited Tilta BMPCC 4K Side Handles, a major component of this cage, are also shipping.
The BMPCC 4K has been a revolutionary camera in terms of image quality compared to form-factor and price, but has been unfortunately plagued with supply issues due to overwhelming demand from day one. This, however, has not detracted third party manufacturers from making their own cages and other accessories to make it easier for filmmakers to create immense moving images with it.
Tilta have been at it making top quality pro accessories for different cameras for years now and more recently they also unleashed their eagerly-anticipated Nucleus-Nano gimbal follow focus to the masses.
You can learn more about the Tilta BMPCC 4K cage in this post here, but in short, the Tactical Assault Armor cage allows BMPCC 4K users to rig their cage in various configurations all thanks to the cage’s intentionally modular nature.
