Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 14.2.1 Update + Blackmagic Video Assist 2.5.2 Update

Blackmagic Design have released a new Video Assist 2.5.2 firmware update, which adds performance enhancements for Video Assist 4K. In addition, DaVinci Resolve gets a new update includes over 50 stability and general performance improvements.

DaVinci Resolve 14.2.1 is available for both the Studio and the free version and features better performance on the edit page while generating thumbnails, correct output of 5.1 and 7.1 WAV files, a more reliable progress indicator when generating optimized proxy media, and over a dozen Fairlight audio improvements. DaVinci Resolve users can also benefit from a better Multicam viewer performance, improved stability for rendering Cineform and H.264, faster ProRes encoding, faster XAVC-I decoding and much more with the latest update.
