New 3-Axis YI Action Gimbal for YI 4K+ Action Camera

The new YI Action Gimbal from YI Technology, makers of the popular YI 4K+ action camera, that we wrote about here, promises smooth footage for all, whether you are snowboarding, biking or just walking around. The new 3-axis gimbal stabilizer from YI measures at 26cm in length and weighs in at 310 grams. Compatible YI action camera models include the 4K, Yi 4K+ and Lite.

Boot time is around 3 seconds, and battery life is stated at around 6 to 8 hours, depending on usage, and the gimbal itself uses 2 x 850mAh batteries. The YI Action Gimbal has 4 modes: Pan mode, Locked mode, Pan & Tilt mode, and Selfie mode. The YI action gimbal features high-precision sensors and brushless motors it can handle bumps and shakes that would usually cause shaky footage. Users can easily connect to one of the compatible YI action cameras using the integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0 with a simple press of the record button on the gimbal.

The integrated Bluetooth allows users to control your camera from a single hand. Once connected to the camera via bluetooth, stop/start recording can be initiated via the record button on the gimbal.
