ARRI are now shipping their new custom designed accessories for the even newer Canon EOC C700 4K production camera that isn’t even shipping yet. The ARRI PCA division makes robust and versatile professional accessories not just for their Alexa and AMIRA cameras, but also for popular third party cameras such as the Panasonic Varicam LT, RED Epic, Sony FS7, Canon C300 Mark II and even Sony A7sII. The new accessories for the C700 include a shoulder mount baseplate to aid docu-shooters and those who prefer to shoot from the shoulder,a top plate with 15mm rod support for lens motors and viewfinder mounts, and a viewfinder bracket. Standard 15mm as well as 19mm configurations are available for the three suggested setups by ARRI – a LWS 15/19mm handheld, Broadcast, and Studio setup. These will fit both the EF and PL versions of the camera.

For those unfamiliar with the Canon C700, you can check out the official promo Canon released for it below. The camera was announced at IBC 2016 this year in Amsterdam.
Canon’s new EOS C700 features a brand new Super 35 sensor and is designed to be a flexible “A” camera for various types of productions ranging from high-end documentaries to TV episodic drama and feature films. The EOS C700 features both internal 4K ProRes and XF-AVC recording in 10bit and 12bit flavours depending on resolution and speed.
With the optional 4K Codex CDX-3150 recorder, the EOS C700 is capable of recording uncompressed 4K RAW up to 120 frames per second.
