Sony unleashed yet another ground-breaking new E-mount 4K mirrorless camera last week – the much awaited successor to the A6000 – the now 4K capable A6300 APS-C Mirrorless camera. The new Sony A6300 features a brand new 24.2 Megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor, internal 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 24/25/30p recording in the well known SonyXAVC-S codec with a bit rate of 100Mb/s, and some insane AF performance in both stills and video. The camera is expected to ship in March at the very competitive $998 (at B&H) for the body only, and $1,148 for the kit with a 16-50mm lens and can be pre-ordered starting today 10th February at major authorised resellers such as B&H, and Adorama. The other new announcements at the New York press event were the much awaited G-Master Full-Frame Zoom lenses and the 85mm f1.4 prime lens.
