PhotoPlus Expo 2015 just took place in NYC this past week. It is the largest photography and imaging trade show in North America with over 21,000 attendees including, but not limited to professional photographers, photography enthusiasts, filmmakers, students and educators from around the world. PhotoPlus features over 100 educational seminars, Photo Walks and Master Classes, and over 225 exhibitors displaying thousands of the latest products and services for you to touch, try and compare. For those of you who didn’t have a chance to attend, like us, here’s some Sony presentations to keep you busy this evening.
First up is the Sony PXW-FS5 presentation by Rob Scribner, Director of Photography, who recently shot a Sony FS5 Promo, the footage of which we showed you here. He was approached by Sony and was given the opportunity to be the first DP to shoot with the brand new Sony PXW-FS5 (due to ship next month) in the States. In the 25+ minute presentation below he shares his experience with the camera.

Here’s also a presentation for photographers who are still living in a DSLR world and looking to transition into mirrorless cameras, and more precisely Sony mirrorless cameras like the Alpha7R II.
Photography guru Brian Smith goes over the multitude of lens options for the E-mount system in the presentation below.

And of course, for the techies out there, here’s a Tech Talk: Alpha 7RII and Alpha 7SII. It’s exactly what it says on the tin.
